A Landmark of Timeless Distinction
Class “A” Downtown Buffalo Office Building.
One of the most recognizable buildings in the Buffalo skyline, the Electric Tower is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally constructed in 1912 as the headquarters for the Buffalo General Electric Company, the building had degraded over the years with much of its historic fabric concealed. Following its acquisition in 2004, Iskalo Development undertook a comprehensive, multi-year restoration and renovation of the interior and exterior, returning the Electric Tower to its original grandeur. The building combines all of the modern office amenities desired by today’s businesses, with the charm and character present only in a true landmark setting. The Electric Tower is host to the New Year’s Ball Drop, the second longest running New Years event in the United States next to Times Square.
