Located at 5000 Main Street at the gateway to the Town of Amherst, Reikart House is a one-of-a-kind boutique hotel featuring 92 elegant guest rooms stylized in classic themes, with just a touch of whimsy.  Part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio collection of upscale, independent hotels, Reikart House delivers elegance and comfort without pretension.  The name “Reikart House” is inspired by Frank and Dolly Reikart, a vaudevillian couple that settled in the Town of Amherst in 1907 and became known as the Town’s “first family of hospitality”.  Reikart House was the result of a comprehensive renovation undertaken by Iskalo Development of an existing mid-century hotel. Since its opening in 2017, Reikart House has received various accolades including the “2018 Hotel of the Year” designation in the “Distinctive Premium” category through JW Marriott International’s U.S. Franchise Full-Service Awards and is consistently ranked as the top hotel in the Tribute Portfolio in guest satisfaction.
